REQUIREMENTS: 

Fire & Metal All Belts - Basic 1

Fire Color Belts - Basic 5

Metal Yellow through Orange - Basic 4 

Metal Green through Red - Basic 8

We strongly encourage learning one's belt-specific form as well (White=Basic 1, Yellow=Basic 2, Purple=Basic 3, etc.)

The Basic forms are a cornerstone of Master Kim's distinguished legacy in the art of Taekwondo. These original creations are each a meditation on a unique tradition of martial arts that Master Kim has encountered throughout the decades. The forms should be practiced with attention to technique, control over power, and an awareness of the intended flow of energy. We recommend the forms as mindful exercises for both parents and children to refocus and rebalance.

 

 BASIC 1

— Requirement for all belts in both Fire & Metal classes. 

— Fire students may end after the double-punch (in class, this will often be taught with a "Taekwon" ki-hap). We encourage learning the full form if possible.
